Nicola Moore-Gothár was confirmed as the Deputy Global Director, Commercial Services in 2024 and has over 15 years working alongside the executive team of the Cayman Registry / Cayman Maritime. She specializes in Client Relationships; Quality Management (QM); Business Continuity Planning & Disaster Recovery; Data Protection (DP); Complaints Management; Records & Information Management (RM/IM); and Freedom of Information (FOI).

Ms. Moore-Gothár provides comprehensive operations support as well as assists with risk mitigation relating to the Registry, its fleet & crew, and international & local maritime partners as needed. She is responsible for oversight of the Client Service Team’s (CST) daily operations throughout the organisation’s global network of offices/representatives and has overseen the review and update of CST processes/workflows as well as overseeing the creation of the CST Quality Management Manual in line with the Merchant Shipping Act, (MSA) 2024.

Ms. Moore-Gothár has represented the organisation at various international conferences, including the Red Ensign Group (REG), and at Cayman Islands Government/Ministry meetings and conferences. She is a member of the MACI Management Committee actively participating in the development of the organisation’s corporate targets, ongoing objectives and annual initiatives.

Prior to joining Cayman Registry / Cayman Maritime; Ms. Moore-Gothár began her civil service career at the Cayman Islands National Archive where she held numerous roles, assisting with a variety of initiatives including legislative research & business process analysis; disaster planning analysis; development of regulations, policies, procedures, standards, benchmarks, guidelines, training and manuals.

Ms. Moore-Gothár holds a Certificate in Training Practice & Human Resource Management from the University of Leicester, UK; and a Master of Economic & Social Studies in Records Management from Aberystwyth University, Wales, UK.
