Cayman Registry hosts regional Ship-owners’ Advisory Council in Tokyo, Japan

On the 26th October 2016, Cayman Registry hosted a Regional Cayman Islands Ship-owners’ Advisory Council (CISAC) meeting in Tokyo, Japan.  The meeting was well attended by Japanese Ship-owners, Tokyo Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Port State Control (PSC), Class NK, and Cayman Registry representatives from their Japan, Singapore and Grand Cayman Head Office.

Tokyo MoU Secretary, Mr. Hideo Kubota, presented activities of Tokyo MoU and statistical data including flag State performances, and Class NK held a Ballast Water Convention presentation.

The CISAC meeting is a forum for the Cayman Registry and its ship-owners to have an open discussion and exchange of ideas in order improve the quality of the shipping industry and the services that Cayman Registry is offering to the industry.

The following companies received an award in recognition of their commitment to Quality Port State Control Performance for 2015.

An evening reception hosted by Cayman Registry and Maples at Century Court Marunouchi was well attended by the CISAC attendees and the Tokyo Shipping Community.
