Senior Client Service Officer I Commercial Services Division George Town, Cayman Islands

The Cayman Registry, a division of Cayman Maritime, was established in 1903 and today the Register covers the full spectrum of vessel types, including commercial ships and private pleasure yachts. The Registry maintains headquarters the Cayman Islands and an European Regional Office in Southampton, UK, with global representation in the Australia, Brazil, France, Greece, Holland, Italy, Japan, Jersey, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, USA and Shanghai & Kobe.

We are now seeking to employ a Senior Client Service Officer I based in our Head Office, George Town, Cayman Islands. The postholder will be working within the Commercial Services Division and reporting directly to the Manager Client Services.

 

SPECIFIC JOB FUNTIONS:

  1. Contributing to the development of MACI’s corporate targets, ongoing objectives, annual initiatives and achievements of the same;
  2. Registration of Vessels;
  3. Recording of Mortgages;
  4. Issuing of Crew Compliance Documentation and other related documents;
  5. Issuing of Statutory Compliance Certification and related documents;
  6. Invoicing and Collection of Fees associated with functions as listed above 2-5;
  7. The post holder shall be required to perform any other duties as requested from time to time by the Manager, Client Services, Deputy Global Director and Global Director (Commercial Services), CEO or Designate.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE
The post holder should possess a Bachelor’s Business Administration or equivalent qualifications, with two (2) years post graduate related managerial experience.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are essential for this role which requires regular client engagement;
  2. Sound language, analytical, presentation and IT skills;
  3. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals/checklists;
  4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and lead an effective cohesive business development team;
  5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to work within established procedures;
  6. Strong organisational, prioritisation and detail-oriented skills with established procedures;
  7. Ability to work under pressure, handle emergencies and mitigate potential risks for events; and to project specific deadlines;
  8. Strong public relations crisis management skills.

Salary Scale: $48,816 - $65,664 per annum
