GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman -- The Headquarters of the Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands, parent organisation of the Cayman Islands Shipping Registry, will be closed Friday, 14 August, to facilitate an annual retreat for its Cayman-based employees as well as staff members who will be attending from overseas locations.

Nonetheless, local staff of the various business units will be checking their emails intermittently throughout the day, and the Shipping Registry assures its valued clientele that they will have uninterrupted service on a 24/7 basis from the organisation’s eight other external locations globally, including Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.; London and Southampton, U.K.; Monaco; Athens; Hong Kong; Tokyo, and Singapore.
