Easter Closure Dates

GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman - The headquarters of the Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands, parent organisation of the Cayman Islands Shipping Registry with its worldwide network of representatives, will be closed Friday, 10 April (Good Friday), and Monday, 13 April (Easter Monday), both public holidays celebrated in the Cayman Islands. The offices in George Town reopen for business as usual at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, 14 April.

The same dates will be observed in Greece, thereby also closing the Athens office.

The Friday the 10th April date will also affect the CISR European Regional Office located in Southampton, U.K., as it will also be closed, but will reopen for business as usual on Monday, 13th April, which is not celebrated as a holiday in the U.K. The same will apply to Monaco operations.

Additionally, the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, office will also be closed on Friday, 10 April.

The Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands' normal office hours at George Town Headquarters are 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Fridays. The offices are located on the second floor, Strathvale House, 90 N. Church St.
