  11. Survey Travel Costs

    In general, surveyors travel by economy class and travel time is charged out at hourly rates, subject to a maximum of 7.5 hours per day (24-hour period) of travel. For flights over four hours, the CISR will also charge rest time equal to the flight time, subject to a maximum of 7.5 hours per day's travel.  Alternatively, if a surveyor flies business class then no rest time is charged.
