MACI is organized into 4 main service groupings.
- Office of the CEO which has 4 main components (not within a Division)
- Board Matters and Strategy
- Maritime Policy, Advice and Legislation Development
- Business Development and Overseas Operations
- Government-to-MACI, regulator-to-client relationships, and regulator-to-regulator interface
- Three Divisions (headed by Global Directors)
- Global Operations:
Human Resources, Finance, Administration, Information Technology and Information - Global Commercial Services:
Registration, Global Representation/Offices and MACI Consulting - Global Safety & Compliance:
Safety, Survey, Inspection, Port State Control and the European Regional Office

MACI directly employs 36 persons at Head Office in Cayman and 18 in the European Regional Office located in the UK. MACI also hires one full-time advisor and one part-time advisor (one for maritime policy/legislation and one for business development/overseas operations).
There are three Representative Offices in Greece, Monaco and the USA, and four Representatives located in London, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong.
