Close For 1-Day Retreat

The European Regional Office of the Cayman Islands Shipping Registry, located in Southampton, U.K., will be closed Friday, 19 September, 2008, to facilitate a staff retreat. Staff of the various business units will be checking their emails intermittently throughout the day, however. The closure is for one day only; the office will reopen for business as usual at 8:30 a.m., Monday, 22 Sept. The Southampton Office is a Division of the Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands, headquartered in George Town, Grand Cayman.

The Cayman Islands Shipping Registry has nine worldwide locations, to ensure 24/7 coverage of the needs of its international clients. In addition to George Town and Southampton, these include Ft. Lauderdale, London, Cannes (France), Athens, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore.
